Eco Remediation

Eco remediation is a combination of soil cleaning techniques performed without removing and hauling the soil away.

Some soils have oil, grease, pesticides made from petrol-chemicals and/or other nasty chemical contamination. Soils may also have heavy metal contamination.

Bio-remediation

The chemicals and oil products are easily dissembled by special Enzymes that are produced by super microbes. The Microbes can survive in adverse conditions and are able to feed specific nutrients. Their enzymes attack the hydrocarbon contaminant and literally take the compound apart–rendering it harmless.

Phyto-remediation

Most industrial sites or old farm land have heavy metals, these are metals that can enter our bodies but not exit it and poison life. Microbes have a hard time with this type of contamination, however there are a host of plants that have been proven to clean up heavy metals. These plants are called Hyper-accumulators, Lead, Arsenic and most other commonly used metals are removed by the plant during it’s growing cycle.

Dual contamination

Sites with both types of contamination usually will not support much plant life. Bio-remediation is performed first, usually taking less than 90 days. After that, the appropriate plants will grow to finish the process.
